Woodworking projects I have done in US and fashion projects done when I was living in Africa.
2.1 Speakers System for PC
This is how I made 2.1 speakers for my PC.
All the parts come as Parts Express kits available here:
www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-6-1-2-Down-Firing-Active-Mini-Subwoofer-Kit-with-2.1-Channel-Amplifier-300-7161?quantity=1
www.parts-express.com/Copperhead-Desktop-Full-Range-Speaker-Kit-Pair-300-7180?quantity=1
Additional things you will need is a veneer and a contact glue. The way you finish speakers it is up to you, you can also just paint them, I can recommend this product:
www.parts-express.com/ExoHyde-Pro-Grade-Textured-Protective-Speaker-Cabinet-Coating-Quart-260-2100?quantity=1
which I used on some other speakers with a great result.
You would also need to buy a power supply 20V, 3A (or similar).
It was an easy build, anyone with some manual skills can make those and enjoy a nice full sound, no matter if you are into gaming or listening to the music, podcasts or watching movies on your computer.
Specs:
Output Power 1 x 60W + 2 x 30W
Frequency Response 30 - 150Hz + 120 - 20.000Hz
Sensitivity 81 dB

Veritas Tools Shooting Board

This video shows how I've built a shooting board based on Veritas Tools which you can buy at Lee Valley. #woodworking #shootingboard #radeksworkshop
Magazine Rack
Переглядів 1,7 тис.2 роки тому
I've got some leather and tools from Weaverleathersupply, cut some maple and made this rack because I really like to combine wood with leather. Simple project, lots of fun.
Restoring Stanley #6 Plane
Переглядів 6422 роки тому
This Stanley was in pretty good shape. I just need to clean it. Soaking in Vinegar for an hour helped a lot, then I used some wire brushes and sandpaper to clean it further. Flattening the sole was done on my belt sander and sharpening the blade on Tormek T8. A coat of fresh paint on metal and glossy polyurethane on wooden parts finished the job.
Cabinet Doors
Переглядів 7662 роки тому
Stiles and rail style cabinet doors made of pine and MDF. This time I used molding rather then a router bits. There are many ways to achieve similar results.
The Bench
Переглядів 20 тис.3 роки тому
Walnut bench for sitting 3-4 people with floating top and interesting joinery. Apart from Walnut I used some Maple and of course a wood glue. Hope you will enjoy watching this almost 13 minutes video as much as I enjoyed building this piece.
Rustic Clock
Переглядів 5413 роки тому
I made this clock from a "cookie" and walnut plugs. I used Rangate knot filler to fill any cracks and Starbond CA glue to harden the fragile center of the cookie. Finished it with Bumblechutes product for a nice look and protection.

The sounds is really good
Where do you get the acoustic stuffing?
everything comes from parts-express.com
@@RadeksWorkshop can you link everything?
@@molecule-ge2be Partsexpress sell this kit, everything except for the veneer.
What size bolts for mounting.
Absolutely amazing video. Helped me put my table together in no time.. THANK YOU SIR!!!!
I'm glad it helped!
Hi, How thick does the table top have to be so that the jaw is ultimately at the same height? Best regards
Sorry, I can't tell you anymore. I don't have it. It was years ago.
I gave away my HF and love this one!
Great video. Get rid of the dumb music please.
Thankyou for this, I lined my studio shed with ply and need to coat it! I don’t want too many toxins do you have any suggestions
I don't know what's available in your place, but I'd suggest something water based. Check low voc products.
Hi Radek. I remember you built a speaker with black paint. here you used a different coating. very great job.💯💪
Thank you. Paint is the easiest and fastest way of finihing speakers. It looks good, but veneer looks better!
Who makes the 90 deg clamps you used in the video?
Woodpeckers
Super wyszło 👻👻👻
Wielkie dzięki
Co to za przetworniki? Oklejane fornirem?
Głośniki Dayton. Tak użyłem fornir z czegoś egzotycznego, już zapomniałem co kupiłem.
Plans?
I think I included them in the longer video posted years ago
Cho cách khoan lỗ bạn ơi
Is there a video on how to build it, step by step?
Check out my full length videos. I think I posted it, but it was a long time ago.
What wad the stain colour
I think it was a walnut
that is a great stool ...do you have any measurements???? that i can use as a reference????
Thank you, didn't I post a longer video with a measurements somewhere there?
This was helpful to me in deciding my choice
I'm glad my little review helped
Vien
good vise!
It is great!
You have to somehow put bearings on the inside bottom of the paint can so the cord reel frame can spin, but the end of the cord on top stays stationary. If this sounds wrong, it's because im having difficulty finding the right words to describe what I mean.
I've put bearings on the spool, it is really the same I think.
wow your shop tools are impressive. it's really very nice to have those tools and of course one needs to practice using them. it will make makers a life more easier. your cute foldable stool is very nice. thanks for sharing - viewer from the Phils.
Salamat po. I love this hobby.
A joy to watch your video. I admire your imagination to keep coming up with great ideas and sharing your passion for woodwork. Well done. One Handed Maker - Australia
Thank you very much for this kind comment
Can someone tell me the net space of the 12” box? Parts express has it at 19” and its not even close to that.
What do you mean by "net space"? Interior dimensions? The box is made of 19mm MDF, that is about 3/4".
Remove that 90 elbow from the impeller inlet and the CFM will increase; every change in airflow direction slows it down. There's no need for the 90 because in use the hose drops toward the floor anyway.
Good point, straight pipe would be better there
Can the tenon maker do all that the kerf maker can do? I’m thinking about getting tm-1 and the km-1… but if the tm-1 can also do the half laps I might just go with only the tm-1
The difference between them is in size, they all do the same job really
This is Emily from DEWENWILS. You surely seem like the perfect partner we’re looking for, and we think some of our products will match your new project wonderfully. Let me know if you are interested and then we will send more details soon.
Uuuf ya yo hago esto
Impressive. Just curious, did you split the tips of the dowels (not sure they were technically dowels, but they were round like dowels), and hammer in wood shims?
No, because I realized it is pretty stable and rigid anyways plus I wanted it to be collapsible.
@@RadeksWorkshop Ahh, understood. Much appreciated, especially responding to a comment on such an old video. Thank you!
@@marcus3457 Sure, I'm trying to respond to all comments. By the way, the bench is with me in Spain now. It was worth making it collapsible.
Great Job... Very sinple and quickly...
Thank you
exactly what my wife needs, hope i manage to craft it myself, thanks for the inspiration!
Good luck, it's a fun project
Thanks for the review and I dont give a rats ass about your dust collector
Good, I sold it months ago
Direct drive is more powerful than belt drive, but it can’t be also compact
Bucktool sells a ready made y hose for dust collection.
Good video and awesome set up. I have quite a few Jessem products and they are always out standing, high quality. Sorry, but I kind of snickered, seeing the Jessem set up, outstanding, and then "yellow" bits. Hey, they work :)
Definitely not the best bits out there, however in terms of a price to quality ratio, they are a great deal.
Beautifully done!! Which craftsman router did you use?
I don't remember which model I had, sorry
Looking good over there brother.
Thanks for watching man!
Hello! Great video! Just a question, where on the brackets and legs did you drill the holes? Cheers, from sweden!
Tack sa mycket, I am sorry but I don't remember. I've made it over 2 years ago.
I need to build one of these. It's a brilliant design. No - thank YOU! ❤️
Hope you'll enjoy this project 🙂
Hahaha i was looking for my sanding plate can’t find it brilliant idea im going to use it now thanks m8
Glad you like the idea
Adding a water based clear coat over oil-based stain doesn't cause peeling?
No, I've never have such problems. If it didn't peel after 3-4 years I guess it's proven to be working.
Turn your camera 90degrees next time ffs.
I do not have problem with it, Pete.
I am so confused. I have seen videos expressing not flush the blade but protrude it slightly to working area. Even though your blade is flush your scoring is not. Very confusing on whether it is necessary to protrude to the blade at all.
Same as harbor freight vise
It's possible. In this case I recommend buying it. It's well made and versatile
NICE
Thanks!
